Nello Rubio

Nello Rubio is a print and online published journalist from the Chicago area, who has a very great passion for Sports and Hip-Hop. Loving all Chicago sports, except for the Bears and Cubs, he grew up as a child during Mike and the Bulls dynasty of the 90's and was a huge fans of the Bulls growing up, as well as the White Sox and Blackhawks. It was this passion for Sports along with his love of writing and journalism, he truly discovered in high school, that made Nello want to pursue a career as a journalist. Attending Columbia College Chicago in Chicago's downtown area, where he would receive his BA's degree in an Interdisciplinary Study of Sports Journalism and Marketing, Nello has wrote for his local newspaper, the Forest Park Post (a West Chicago suburb were he grew up and still lives) and various Sports and Hip-Hop websites since graduating in 2009. Doing mostly freelance work, he looks to eventually make it into a profitable career that he can live off of.
