There are more players than ever before joining teams around the NBA landscape thanks to the current situation with COVID-19 heading into the Christmas holiday, and the Chicago Bulls are one that is impacted by this wave of late. Second-year head coach Billy Donovan and the Bulls have three games already postponed due to the COVID-19 issues around the league.

Last week, it was the Bulls that had a ton of issues with players missing in the league’s health and safety protocol. This week, though, the Bulls had a game postponed due to the other team suffering from players absent due to the health and safety protocol.

The Bulls had their meeting originally set for the night of Dec. 22 with the Toronto Raptors postponed. It is the second game in the last week that the Bulls had against the Raptors that was postponed due to COVID-19-related issues. But it was the Raptors that are now missing a double-digit number of players due to various injury issues, but mainly the health and safety protocol.

Where the Chicago Bulls could look in free agency if COVID-19-related issues persist?

And the other game that the Bulls had postponed was set to come against the Detroit Pistons at home back on Dec. 14.

At the moment, the Bulls do still have quite a few players in the health and safety protocol, including star shooting guard Zach LaVine and power forward Alize Johnson. Meanwhile, the Bulls have signed the likes of forward Alfonzo McKinnie, power forward Ersan Ilyasova, and guard Mac McClung, among others, to 10-day contracts to fill the void.

If the Bulls do have any other issues stemming from the league’s health and safety protocol, here’s a list of five more players that could be signed in the near future.
