#11: Chicago Bulls select Ron Holland

The Bulls would be excited if Holland were to drop this far, as he was once ranked as one of the top players in this draft.

He had a lackluster start to his G-League career and struggled shooting from long range, having an up and down season, but finishing with averages of 20 points and seven rebounds per game to go along with 2.3 steals.

Holland is a project on the offensive end but should be a defensive menace on the wing right away, which is something the Bulls need. He could be a formidable complement to Alex Caruso if the Bulls keep him around and improve Chicago’s perimeter defense right away.

Holland is already an explosive finisher at the rim and should be a force in transition right away with his athleticism and ability to get out and run. If he develops a 3-point shot, he could end up being the steal of the draft, as he’s already shown the prospect of being an elite defender on the wing, which is a valuable trait.
