The 2024 NBA Draft is just nine days away and there is no telling what the Chicago Bulls are going to do with the 11th pick.

They’ve been consistently mentioned in trade rumors, though those have been more speculation than anything specific, with some league executives believing the Bulls will try to trade up.

If not, they will have an interesting crop of players to choose from in a wide-open draft where the best player could be found outside of the top five.

The Bulls have also been attached to the draft’s most polarizing prospect.

Chicago Bulls draft: Zach Edey

A recent article in ESPN suggested that the Bulls were one of the teams considering Zach Edey in the lottery.

He’s underrated or overrated depending on who you ask, as Edey was the NCAA’s best player but there are doubts about how his game will translate to the NBA where centers need to be more versatile.

But are we overthinking things here? Edey is huge at 7-foot-4, averaged 25 points, 12 rebounds and over two blocks per game in college, where he improved every season and won a lot of games.

He’s an interesting prospect for the Bulls, as he’s a fit who could help them in multiple areas.
