Game 82 of the 2025-26 NBA regular season is here. Bulls fans and Mavericks fans don't have much left to watch on the court, but some will tune in anyway — for those who do, what names are included on these teams' wildly long injury reports?
Dallas has some lottery positioning at stake tonight. The Mavs and Memphis Grizzlies have identical 26-55 records heading into the final day.
The Bulls have less to worry about, since they waited too long to blow up their roster at the trade deadline. Chicago will finish the season ninth in the reverse standings.
The Bulls did finally fire executive vice president of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas and general manager Marc Eversley — a smart decision, but one that should've come last summer, if not even earlier.
Here are the injury reports for both teams as they battle for one more loss.
Bulls injury report looks ideal minus one name
Chicago's list of "outs" looks a lot as you'd expect for a tanking team playing its last game. Rotation mainstays like Jalen Smith and Isaac Okoro won't play against Dallas, and veteran deadline acquisitions such as Nick Richards and Guerschon Yabusele have likely played their last contests in a Bulls uniform.
Missing starting point guard Josh Giddey is a bummer for head coach (at least for now) Billy Donovan, but the most glaring absence for Chicago tonight will be Matas Buzelis.
The 21-year-old Chicago native has started 77 games for the Bulls this season and should enter next year with an all-star berth in mind. In his last 25 games, Buzelis averaged 18.9 points, 6.9 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.6 blocks in 31.1 minutes per.
It's Cooper Flagg and his injured gang for the Mavericks in game 82
Adding another "L" to the ledger could help Dallas increase its chances of a second consecutive No. 1 draft pick, but another massive showing from Cooper Flagg could help the 19-year-old increase his chances of beating former Duke teammate Kon Knueppel for this year's Rookie of the Year Award.
Flagg is the favorite at -200 on FanDuel, but a dominant performance against a depleted Bulls team could seal the deal.
