Bulls vs Bucks prediction, betting odds and TV channel for April 17
The Chicago Bulls are in their first playoff game since the 2017 playoffs. The sixth-seed Bulls are set to play the three-seed Milwaukee Bucks in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
Chicago lost the season series to the Bucks, the final two games being blowouts. The Bucks and Bulls have chippy history dating back to the 1970s, and most recently, the two sides scuffled on Jan. 21 following Bucks guard Grayson Allen injuring Bulls guard Alex Caruso on a breakaway layup.
Serge Ibaka (illness), George Hill (abdomen) and Grayson Allen (hip) are day-to-day for Milwaukee. Lonzo Ball (knee) is out for the Bulls.
Chicago Bulls vs. Milwaukee Bucks betting odds, spread, over/under
According to WynnBET, the Bulls are a 10-point underdogs against the Bucks and are -108 to cover that spread (bet $108 to win $100). Chicago is +410 on the moneyline to win Game 1 outright (bet $100 to win $410) . The over/under is set at 228.5 points (bet $110 to win $100 for both).
Chicago Bulls vs. Milwaukee Bucks Prediction
The Bulls have not been good against elite teams. They struggle to keep guards out of the paint and are slow to close outs. Against the Bucks, they allowed season high offensive rebounds in three of their four matchups.
The Bucks offense starts and ends with the play of Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Bulls haven’t seemed to find way to slow Antetokounmpo down in their four regular season matchups. He scored 30 or more in three of the four matchups and finished with double-digit rebounds in each contest. The Bulls lack the consistent length on the perimeter to bother him.
The Bulls’ inability to stop Antetokounmpo is a problem and will likely carry over into this series. We’re taking the Bucks -10 and over 228.5.
