Bulls vs Kings Promo
The Bulls have won four straight and covered the spread in four of their last five as DeMar DeRozan has entered another stratosphere. I promise this isn’t a typo,: he’s averaging 37.4 points, 5.2 assists, and 5 rebounds per game while shooting 61.2% from the field and 42.9% from beyond the arc over that stretch. He’s a bona fide MVP candidate and one of the best basketball players on the planet right now.
Tonight, he gets to take on a Kings defense that ranks 29th in the league in defensive rating on the season and no longer has their best perimeter defender in Tyrese Haliburton. Sacramento is an impressive 5-2 against the spread (ATS) in their last seven, but they fell back down to earth with a loss to Brooklyn in their last game and I think the Bulls offense is just too much.
Chicago’s defense leaves a lot to be desired, however, ranking just 25th in net rating over their last 10. Thus, we’ll be taking the over here as well. The over is 8-3 in the Bulls’ last 11 games and 5-1 in the Kings’ past six as they’ve adjusted to a new roster.
Both teams can score and cannot defend, and as a cherry on top they both play fast. Over their last five games, the Kings have played at the sixth-fastest pace and Chicago the 10th-fastest, so we’ll see a lot of shots go up tonight.
Give me the Bulls -6 (-110) and the over 232.5 (-110) as we sit back and enjoy another day of the DeMar show.
