At this point of the regular season, the Chicago Bulls are looking like real contenders coming out of the Eastern Conference. Second-year head coach Billy Donovan and the Bulls are sporting a record of 25-10 through the first 35 games of the regular season following their four-point win over the Orlando Magic at home at the United Center on Jan. 3.
That record is good to place the Bulls in first place in the Eastern Conference standings ahead of the Brooklyn Nets and Milwaukee Bucks 35 games in. This run the Bulls are on right now is very special. They are currently sitting on a season-best eight-game winning streak after the triumph over the Magic to start the week.
