Chicago Bulls players that will help this team get into the playoffs: Zach LaVine

Despite all of the big-time additions that Karnisovas, Eversley, and the Bulls made so far this offseason, the focal point of this team will still be the first-time All-Star selection LaVine. The Bulls found something that could be special at the trade deadline last season in the pairing of Vooch and LaVine.

Now, the Bulls upgraded the supporting cast even further for LaVine. It looks like the postseason drought not just for the Bulls, but also for LaVine, should be coming to an end in 2022. The postseason itch has to be real for LaVine, and he’ll have a real chip on his shoulder next season considering that he’ll be in the midst of a contract year.

Last season, we saw LaVine put together another year of improvement. And now at 26 years of age, if LaVine is able to keep improving at the same rate that he did in the last three seasons, he should be able to garner his second straight All-Star nod and first career All-NBA Team selection.

More so than anything else, LaVine’s primary motivating factor just looks to be winning more games. If LaVine can show off any actual level of postseason success next season, then his value on the open market, and to the Bulls, will skyrocket.

LaVine used to have an image of a stat sheet stuffy and more of an empty calorie scorer. That’s an image that he started to work his way out of over the course of the last two seasons, and he should continue to do so during the 2021-22 campaign.
