The night of the 2021 NBA Draft is quickly approaching, and the Chicago Bulls did not have many publicized workouts of some usual projected second-round prospects since the week of the combine. The Bulls’ front office have played this draft process pretty close to the chest in the last few weeks, which isn’t much of a surprise given their lack of a first-round pick.

Executive vice president of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas and general manager Marc Eversley shipped off two of the Bulls’ first-round draft picks in the big trade deadline day deal back on March 25 to get star center Nikola Vucevic from the Orlando Magic.

That trade deal also saw the Bulls part ways with third-year center Wendell Carter Jr. and veteran small forward Otto Porter Jr. for that return of Vucevic and veteran forward Al-Farouq Aminu. Landing Vooch was the headlining move for the Bulls during a busy deadline day this year.

It will be difficult for the Chicago Bulls to strike out completely with the 38th overall pick

Draft night might be pretty quiet, though, for the Bulls. Unless a big-time trade is in the works for Karniosvas and the Bulls on draft night, all that is likely to happen for this team is a selection 38th overall in the second round.

The Bulls had a much busier night planned for the 2020 NBA Draft when the rebuild took a leap forward with the selection of the former Florida State Seminoles forward Patrick Williams fourth overall. Karnisovas and the Bulls also snagged the KK Mega Bemax big man Marko Simonovic 44th overall in the second round of the draft last year.

What lies ahead for the Bulls on draft night 2021? We’ll have to wait and see for July 29 to see what happens. But here’s a look into four prospects that the Bulls could look into that a soaring up draft boards at the moment.
