If the Chicago Bulls can put together a good offseason, this team could turn into a legitimate postseason contender in the Eastern Conference next season. The Bulls already have a budding trio in star shooting guard Zach LaVine, center Nikola Vucevic, and rookie forward Patrick Williams, that are going to form the core of this starting unit.

With the Bulls acquiring the former Orlando Magic two-time All-Star center Vooch at the trade deadline back on March 25, there is another legit star running mate for LaVine. The star duo of LaVine and Vooch will give the Bulls their best shot at making the playoffs since former star shooting guard/small forward Jimmy Butler was traded back during the 2017 offseason.

If Vooch and LaVine can stay healthy throughout next season, head coach Billy Donovan should have the Bulls in a position to improve the mark of their win total by 10 or 15. The Bulls need to also make moves this summer that benefits the supporting cast around LaVine, Vooch, and Williams.

Maximizing Nikola Vucevic is paramount for the Chicago Bulls

Vooch himself sounds confident about where his game is headed for next season. He mentioned this week in a piece in The Athletic that he is essentially excited to improve every year, even at the age of 30.

One of the pieces that the Bulls need to find to help round out this starting five around the likes of LaVine, Vooch, and Williams, is at the one and likely the four. The Bulls could re-sign the former Boston Celtics center Daniel Theis to form the starting frontcourt alongside Vooch.

But that still leaves the need to find a solution at the point guard position.

Nonetheless, here’s a look into four big men that would be solid fits next to Vooch for the Bulls ahead of next season.
