The Chicago Bulls experienced an unfortunate stake in the Draft Lottery last Tuesday, as their first-round No. 8 pick was given to the Orlando Magic. However, there is still light at the end of the tunnel as they do receive the No. 38 pick in the second round, making it very clear that 38 Special is on their side and will bring some good luck in their “Second Chance” (second round) selection in this stacked 2021 NBA Draft.
NBA Draft Lottery? Check. NBA Draft Combine? Check. NBA Draft? In progress. It is not easy to narrow down these highly touted prospects of this year’s 2021 NBA Draft because, boy, there are loads of them that borderline each other very closely with similar talent. The overall skill level of these guys is simply off the charts.
In this sense you put phenomenal basketball ability, with superb athleticism and God-Given length; and you’ve got nothing but a serious recipe for disaster (in a good way, that is) for all team organizations to get their ducks in a row.
Chicago Bulls need to maximize their second-round pick in 2021
Executives need to trust their instincts, make the most out of their selection, take who is the best available, think long and hard about who fits best within their system. Also who will come in have an immediate impact, who they see wearing the uniform on the front and back for many seasons, etc.
We are about a month away from this memorable day, the NBA Draft, and all NBA organizations are currently in the progress of making probably one of the most important and critical decisions they’ve made all year. There are feelings of excitement, eagerness, thrill, nervousness, and maybe even a little restlessness for all draft prospects, coaches, owners, GMs, front office staff, etc.
However, this is all normal and is ultimately what makes the NBA such an entertaining league to follow, watch, etc.; because all of these individuals put their hearts and souls into being the greatest basketball players in the world, as well as leading the greatest basketball players in the world.
