Chicago Bulls: 3 Offseason untouchables
Chicago Bulls Offseason Untouchables: Zach LaVine
Number one on the list should not be much of a surprise. LaVine made the all-star game for the first time in his career this season and will look to continue improving his game ahead of next season.
Next season will be with the Chicago Bulls, without a doubt. LaVine has established himself as the face of the franchise and both fans and the front office agree he is key to the upcoming years. That understanding by the front office is a big reason the Bulls added Vooch at the trade deadline.
They want to prove to LaVine he can and will win in Chicago. Being that valued by the franchise, as in they are making moves to show him why he should be a Bull long term, proves he will be around long term.
While there are questions regarding his eventual free agency, this offseason those questions won’t be on the mind of the Bulls. Instead, they will be looking to fill out a roster that should be competitive in the Eastern Conference next season.
That roster will be built around the talents of Zach LaVine, as well as Vucevic and Williams. LaVine continues improving each and every season in the NBA, adding to the title he has earned as untouchable.
While teams will likely call to see if they can acquire him, it is safe to say the Bulls won’t be listening to the offers any of those teams have. Chicago rightfully believes they can build a winner around LaVine and that will be the top priority in the upcoming offseason.
His offensive game can not be argued or denied. Filling out the group with defensive players that compliment him and Vooch will be atop the team’s to-do list.
