An often discussed veteran option on the free agent market for a number of NBA teams that need to fill depth on the wing is the former Bucks and Bulls 40-year-old Lakewood, CA, native shooting guard/small forward Kyle Korver. The 6-foot-7 and 215 pound Korver is still one of the best shooters in the game, despite now being over 40 years of age.

That also means that if Korver wants to, he could likely have his choice of landing spots were he to be openly pursued on the free agent market down the stretch this year. The Bulls do make sense as a potential landing spot for Korver since they aren’t hitting their open three-point looks right now, and they still could use some depth help on the wing.

The first time that Korver played for the Bulls was for two seasons from 2010-2012. He’s also spent at least two seasons with the Hawks, Sixers, Jazz, and Cleveland Cavaliers, in his career to date. The last team he played for was the Bucks last season, where his run in the NBA up to this point ended in the bubble.

The one-time All-Star selection Korver has led the NBA three times in three-point shooting percentage. For his career, Korver is a 43 percent shooter from beyond the arc, and 88.0 percent from the charity stripe. From what he showed with the Bucks last season, Korver still has something left in the tank, which would be a great sign if he were to take his talents somewhere else this season.
