1) Chicago Bulls trades to get Aaron Gordon

Maybe the most intriguing trade chip on the Magic’s current roster entering the 2020 offseason is neither Gordon nor Vucevic, surprisingly. It could be the likes of the former Florida State Seminoles defensive standout 23-year-old 6-foot-11 and 230 pound power forward Jonathan Isaac. A budding quality starter that could serve a lot of value over the course of at least 12-15 years for his NBA career (if he can stay healthy), Isaac would offer a ton for the Bulls.

The Bulls would really be reshaping the outlook of their rebuilding heading into its fourth year if they could ship off the likes of Markkanen, WCJ, and Young to the Magic to get a return of Isaac and Gordon. The Bulls would also be getting a future insurance policy in this trade deal if they could get the 2020 first round draft pick from the Magic.

The Magic pick 15th overall in the 2020 NBA Draft, so the Bulls would get a ton of room to figure out what they want to do with a plethora of draft capital.

Bleacher Report has discussed a lot of trade packages involving the likes of Markkanen for the Bulls and Gordon for the Magic this offseason. One in particular even had a direct exchange between the Bulls and Magic of Markkanen for Isaac.

Add in the pieces of WCJ and Young to the Magic for Gordon and a 2020 first round draft pick, and you could get a pretty intriguing exchange. The Magic would get a legit frontcourt pairing to build around, and a big contract of their payroll with Gordon gone to Chicago.

The Bulls might have to toss in more future assets or draft capital into this potential trade deal, but it could at least be a foundation to discussions with the Magic. The idea of adding both Gordon and Isaac to the frontcourt rotation hypothetically could be too good for Karnisovas to pass on.
