The start of the next cycle of free agency is just three days away. A team that the Chicago Bulls could have a lot of free agent targets from is the Lakers.

Free agency looms large for rebuilding teams around the NBA like the Chicago Bulls. This cycle of free agency will be one of the first major opportunities for the likes of newly hired executive vice president of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas and general manager Marc Eversley to make a difference in this Bulls rebuild, heading into its fourth year.

It’s not all that long until this cycle of free agency begins either. The Bulls should have a plan in mind now of where they will look to retool their roster in the free agent market, and via the trade route and NBA Draft this offseason. This cycle of free agency in particular begins on Oct. 18, which is this coming weekend.

The 2019-20 NBA season concluded on Oct. 11, in the Los Angeles Lakers Game 6 victory in the Finals over the Miami Heat. Superstar LeBron James got his fourth title with the Lakers, but the bulk of the roster around him will be hitting free agency in some regard. The Lakers have a whopping 10 players that are about to hit free agency.

Any prospective rebuilding team that wasn’t included in the season’s restart at the bubble in Disney World, like the Bulls, should’ve been watching intently as the Lakers carved their way through the playoffs. There could be quite a few free agent targets that are good fits with the Bulls that stood out for the Lakers in the season that was.

Here’s a look at three impending Lakers free agents that the Bulls should pursue this offseason.
