Since both the Clippers and Nuggets are still alive to make the Western Conference Finals and take on the Lakers, this part of the list will be split between one potential Bulls free agent target from each team. On the Nuggets side, two-way forward Jerami Grant could be a really intriguing free agent target for the Bulls if he doesn’t opt in to his player option this offseason.

The former second round pick of the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2014 NBA Draft Grant has connections tying back to both recently hired Bulls executive vice president of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas and general manager Marc Eversley. Karnisovas just left the Nuggets to become the Bulls lead voice in the new front office, and Eversley was hired away from the Sixers.

During the 2019-20 regular season, Grant played in 71 games in his inaugural campaign with the Nuggets (two-dozen of which he started in). He averaged 12.0 points per game, 3.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 0.7 steals, and 0.8 blocks. Grant shot 47.8 percent from the field, 38.9 percent from beyond the arc, and 75.0 percent from the free-throw line.

And the other potential free agent target for the Bulls out of this Clippers-Nuggets series is veteran forward Marcus Morris. This sizable 6-foot-8 and 220 pound small/power forward played in 62 games split between the New York Knicks and Clippers during the regular season (all of which he started in). Morris averaged 16.7 points per game, 5.0 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 0.8 steals, and 0.5 blocks. He shot 43.8 percent from the field, 40.8 percent from beyond the arc, and 82.3 percent from the free-throw line.
