3) Chicago Bulls trade targets that fit well with Karnisovas: Gary Harris, Shooting Guard

What better way for the Bulls to turn than to a former player that they drafted and someone that developed within the same organization that Karnisovas was the general manager for. This 6-foot-4 and 210 pound former Michigan State Spartans shooting guard Gary Harris was a first round pick (19th overall) of the Bulls in the 2014 NBA Draft.

Harris was one of two first round picks of the Bulls in the 2014 draft that were traded on draft night. The other is the current Portland Trail Blazers standout big man Jusuf Nurkic, who had a nice run in the bubble once returning from injury that kept him out for most of the 2019-20 regular season. But Harris would be the more appealing trade target between him and Nurkic.

The 25-year-old Harris should be entering the prime years of his career, but he had somewhat of a down season during the 2019-20 campaign. Harris and the three-seed Nuggets are still alive in the playoffs, as they head into the second round to take on the two-seed Los Angeles Clippers.

In 56 games played during the 2019-20 regular season (all but one of which he started in), Harris was fairly inconsistent. He averaged 10.4 points per game, 2.9 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.4 steals, and 0.3 blocks. Harris shot 42.0 percent from the field, 33.3 percent from beyond the arc, and 81.5 percent from the free-throw line.

Ideally the Bulls would be able to get a usually solid two-way shooting guard/wing that provides depth behind their own standout 25-year-old shooting guard Zach LaVine. Harris could accomplish that, and they might be able to get him in a buy-low scenario.
