Former Chicago Bulls All-Star small forward Jimmy Butler is seeing even more success in his career now with the Sixers and Miami Heat.
It is currently playoff time in the NBA, but this time it is taking place in the bubble at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, FL. But the Chicago Bulls are not one of the 16 teams left in the NBA’s season, now that the playoffs have arrived. The Bulls weren’t even a part of the NBA’s 22 team bubble restart plan at Disney World.
The Bulls finished up the 2019-20 season with a record of 22-43, prior to the novel coronavirus pandemic-induced pause. But there are quite a few former Bulls players that are still alive in the season’s restart. That list includes Miami Heat small forward Jimmy Butler, Los Angeles Clippers center Joakim Noah, Milwaukee Bucks shooting guard Kyle Korver, Indiana Pacers small forward Justin Holiday, etc.
Butler is the most recognizable name on that list, and he is one of the favorite former Bulls that is still alive in the NBA’s season restart. He is facing the four-seed Pacers in the first round of the playoffs with the five-seed Heat. And the Heat got off to a good start on Aug. 18, with Butler leading his team to a 113-101 victory over the Pacers to get the early series edge.
This is one of numerous stints that Butler had in the playoffs so far in his pretty accomplished NBA career. A number of opposing players have also felt the difficulties that can be facing him on both ends of the floor.
Here’s a look into three players that former Bulls star Butler dominated in his career so far.
