It would be great news if the Chicago Bulls were at least able to land a top five pick in the 2020 NBA Draft lottery, which takes place on Aug. 20.

We are now just a few days away from figuring out where the Chicago Bulls will fall in the 2020 NBA Draft Lottery, and the excitement has to be building up within this fan base for what’s to come heading into the fourth year of the rebuild. There’s a lot of signs that the Bulls are starting to move the rebuild in the right direction, including all of the recent changes to the front office and coaching staff.

On Aug. 20, the next step in moving this rebuild in the right direction could become much clearer as the Bulls will get to figure out where they’re picking in the 2020 draft lottery. They are sitting around the same spot in the lottery odds that they were each of the last two years. Hopefully this won’t be the fourth consecutive year where they pick seventh overall in the NBA Draft Lottery.

According to the Tankathon odds, the Bulls spot in the lottery gives them the seventh best odds to get the first overall pick in this draft (sounds familiar doesn’t it). They do have a 7.5 percent of getting the first overall pick and a 32.0 percent chance of landing in the top four. Hopefully at least one of those two scenarios plays out so that the Bulls could get a better spot in the lottery to push the rebuild in the right direction.

If they at least land in the top five, where is the best place for them to look out to build out a complete draft board? Here’s a look into three of the more creative and underrated options for the Bulls in the top five of the 2020 draft.
