What should be a much better position that the Chicago Bulls are in with Jim Boylen out, some of their top players should also be happier next season.

Now that the Chicago Bulls are officially out of the era of Jim Boylen as the head coach, most of the locker room is likely going to be happier with whatever the coaching situation is next. Boylen did not seem to be the favorite head coach that the Bulls could ever set in place for this rebuild. And now there will be a new head coach in place heading into the fourth year of the rebuild.

During his run as head coach with the Bulls, Boylen registered a record of 39-84. The Bulls finished up the 2019-20 season, prior to the novel coronavirus pandemic-induced hiatus, with a record of 22-43. That was good for 11th place in the Eastern Conference standings.

Heading into the thick of the 2020 offseason, the Bulls are once again facing a number of looming question marks and could get the seventh overall pick in the NBA Draft Lottery. Beyond all of the changes that the new look front office regime made thus far, including the changes with the lead voices among the executive personnel themselves, there’s a lot of familiar feelings with this Bulls offseason.

The good news is that they parted ways with Boylen, and could find a much better fit at head coach for this rebuild. And ownership gave the front office a much needed rejuvenation by hiring former Denver Nuggets general manager Arturas Karnisovas to be the lead voice and former Philadelphia 76ers senior vice president of player personnel Marc Eversley to be the next general manager.

With all of the new pieces in place within the Bulls organization, which three players will be better off and could breakout next season?
