24. 4. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Combo Guard. New Zealand. RJ Hampton

If the Bulls are going to get the fourth spot in this 2020 NBA Mock Draft, then they should do their best to fill a positional need. The problem for the Bulls by landing with the fourth overall pick is the fact that GarPax already took a flier out on Coby White with the seventh draft spot in the 2019 NBA Draft.

However, if the Bulls are still looking to bolster the depth in the backcourt, they just can’t miss out on a former five-star Texas native recruit that is headed to play in New Zealand instead of playing college hoops. Former five-star combo guard RJ Hampton reclassified to the 2019 recruiting class and will be a premier prospect for the 2020 NBA Draft.

Hampton brings a very versatile and explosive offensive skill set to the table. Few players in this entire draft class will be able to match the creating ability and elusiveness of Hampton on the offensive end of the floor. Hampton also has fantastic facilitating ability.

Landing a combo guard that could average 15-20 points per game early in his NBA career while registering 6-8 assists per game is special. That’s exactly what the Bulls could be getting with the 6-foot-4 elite-talent that is Hampton. His development overseas in New Zealand will be important, though.
