Overall picture of the Chicago Bulls in Summer League

There will be a handful of familiar faces for fans of the Chicago Bulls for the Vegas Summer League. The most familiar that we don’t have listed among the most intriguing seven players on this roster are second-year point guard Walt Lemon Jr. and combo guard Shaquille Harrison.

With the Bulls bringing point guard Ryan Arcidiacono back on a three-year deal worth $9 million, there is a diminishing role for Harrison and Lemon Jr. on the team. Lemon Jr. will either be fighting for positioning with the G-League Windy City Bulls or for a spot on another NBA team that really needs point guard depth deeper down the bench.

Harrison does have the ability to play combo guard if the Bulls feel as if it’s worth keeping him around. He can defend in multiple different situation and still brings value to the table. Lemon Jr. is mostly just a scorer off the bench, but he can give a rotation a spark when needed.

Other parts of the roster that we didn’t put in this list that are still worth mentioning include former UConn Huskies shooting guard Rodney Purvis, Kentucky Wildcats guard Mychal Mulder, and Texas Longhorns big man Jonathan Holmes. Those players are a long shot to make the Bulls roster at any point next season.
