No. 1: Bulls clinch a playoff spot in the best way possible

For a franchise with a history as historic as the Chicago Bulls, and one of the best winning cultures in the league, not making the playoffs is a huge disappointment, especially when the team has the talent to do it.

Last year, the Bulls left fans disappointed as the playoffs started and they weren’t included in the fun. So coming into this game, the organization knew how important this game was. This was the final regular season game for the Bulls and the stakes were high: win and they are in the playoffs.

It was an up-and-down year for the Bulls, but making the playoffs was the ultimate goal for this team and they had a chance to do it against one of the league’s worst teams.

Not only did they win, but they crushed them. They were up 50-32 at halftime and they didn’t let up. It was refreshing to see them bury a team that had no business competing with them, which is something they rarely do.

All 13 of the Bulls active roster got playing time and made the most out of it. 12 out of the 13 Bulls players had a plus/minus of +10 or higher. The only player that didn’t hit that mark was Anthony Morrow, who finished with a +9 plus/minus. That shows how much of a team effort this was.

With a convincing victory, the Bulls secured themselves a spot in the playoffs and that’s all you could ask for from a team comprised of a roster that wasn’t suited for today’s NBA.
