Terrance Ferguson, SG, Adelaide 36ers (Australia)

You may be surprised seeing Terrance Ferguson here.

After all, he’s been slotted to the Bulls in some mocks and may be the 3-and-D player they need next to Butler. Heck, he’s the exception on this list who I wouldn’t be too surprised if the Bulls took him.

More from Pippen Ain't Easy

Ferguson bypassed college ball at Arizona to play internationally in Australia. It was a mistake, as he averaged 15 minutes per game on the 36ers while averaging 4.6 points per game. We saw flashes, but never anything showing he was a prospect in the making. But people overrate his main attributes: his defense and his 3-point shooting.

He drilled 21 of 67 treys (31.3 percent), which is not bad, but for a guy you want as your shooter off the bench, it has to be decently higher. He also didn’t have the defense that is can’t-miss and that needs to improve. It’s my belief that GarPax wants a guy they can plug into the rotations immediately as a shooter, but Ferguson probably won’t be able to do that.

In the war room, if GarPax is thinking that, Ferguson’s night will be longer.
