The Chicago Bulls have had a long and eventful season. Many bad things happened to lead to a mediocre record and the final spot in the Eastern Conference playoffs. But there are some positives to draw from the season that was riddled with so much controversy.

It’s been a long, strange season for the Bulls. The Three Alphas shared the floor to minimal returns, Rajon Rondo’s Instagram incident was the hottest story in the NBA for a week and Fred Hoiberg seemed the perfect amount of lost the whole time.

If you squint you can draw some positives from this year. They aren’t the most consequential subjects, though it’s nice as a fan to look at things through an optimistic lens.

Jimmy Butler obviously leads in this category being the best part of this team though there are others who did good things that may have been overlooked due to all the madness.

A couple of role players consistency and a rookie surprise may even lead a fan to be happy about the year as a whole. Probably not, but it’s a decent way to trick yourself into thinking such is true.
