The Chicago Bulls are back in the playoffs. They open their first-round series against the Boston Celtics on Sunday. The Pippen Ain’t Easy crew got together to address five questions about the Bulls, the Celtics and the success of the franchise.

Hey, they did it! Chicago is back in the playoffs. They only skipped the postseason one year before getting back in the mix, but it certainly felt like it was longer.

Now that they’re here, we have plenty of questions that need some answers. There are questions about measuring success – what makes this a successful season, are the Bulls upset contenders or eighth seed pretenders? There are questions about who is going to come up big and who needs to help Jimmy out. There are questions about all kinds of stuff.

Here at PAE, we got the guys together and randomly picked a handful of questions to tackle ahead of the playoffs.

It’s been a wild ride, but now it’s time to see if the Three Alphas can get the job done against the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference. Can Jimmy Butler, Dwyane Wade and Rajon Rondo stay on the same page and challenge Isaiah Thomas, Al Horford and Jae Crowder? Will Nikola Mirotic keep up his scorching-hot end of the regular season?

Everyone has questions, now let’s get to some answers.
