Takeaway No. 2: Dwyane Wade is back
Dwyane Wade’s return is going to have an impact on the rest of this roster for better or worse. Player’s minutes are going to be yanked around leaving them pondering their role.
Other guys will see their on ball usage decrease, like Nikola Mirotic. Mirotic scored just four points on nine shots against the Nets. His late-season performance is a big reason the Bulls are in a playoff position.

Hoiberg would be smart to try to make sure Mirotic has some of the offense ran for him as they integrate Wade back into the rotation. If they want to make any noise in a potential series, they will need Mirotic to play like he has for the last month.
Zipser and Valentine must be curious what Wade’s return will mean for them. If Hoiberg keeps the rotation tight in a playoff series, one of them is likely to remain on the bench. It should be Morrow on the bench, though Fred Hoiberg’s sporadic lineup decisions leave any options possible.
A fresh Dwayne Wade will help the Bulls should they make the playoffs. He showed last year he could turn it on when it mattered most. The other wings will have to deal with the repercussions and accept whatever role they end up with.
