Contain John Wall

John Wall is undoubtedly having a career year with averages of 23.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 10.7 assists per game. If at all possible, holding Wall to a bare minimum of 15 points would benefit the Bulls in some facet.

In two games against the Bulls this season (missed the first one due to injury), Wall has led all scorers. The Bulls will need to trust each other on containing Washington’s star player.

Any way to slow Wall down, whether on the fast break or in the halfcourt offense, would slow down the offense of the Wizards.

In those two games Wall played in, the Wizards have outscored the Bulls on the fast break 58-27. The Bulls will need to run with this team on defense in order to avoid an absolute thrashing.

This team needs to learn how to play at the same pace as opposing teams, especially if they want to do this:

It’s time to buckle down and run like a real bunch of bulls.
