Fred Hoiberg Technical Fouls: 0.2

Hoiberg is one of the most relaxed coaches in the NBA for a variety of reasons. Still, he’s mostly unflappable and appears to have mastered the internal scream.

And even here:

Hoiberg is like the most chill dude of NBA coaching on the outside. That could all change this year. Butler wants Hoiberg to push him and he’ll have a second year of coaching under his belt. Maybe the blessing from Butler and the confidence that comes with a year of trial and error will push him over the edge.

The truth is that Rondo is going to push him over the edge. If you’re lucky, you have League Pass so you’ll be sure to catch the moment when it happens on some January away game on the second night of a back-to-back or something. It’s going to happen.

Sadly, that is a long, long time after the preseason has ended. The only sane choice to make here is to take the under. Then again, anyone willing to take the head coaching job for the Bulls and then stick around after they dump Wade and Rondo onto the roster has to be insane, right?

Go watch those Vines again. Tell me Hoiberg doesn’t look like he’s ready to let loose at any second. I’m taking the over and only Jimmy Butler is happy about that.
