Subject: Mike Dunleavy

  • Dunleavy surprised us all when he stepped into a starting role following the Luol Deng trade. There wasn’t much of a drop off at all as he filled in admirably.
  • He can shoot the ball and can even hold his own on defense.
  • He showed his true grit in the playoffs and consistently got under the skin of the young Bucks.
  • He may be getting older but with his skill set it doesn’t really matter all that much.
  • Other teams wanted him, but he chose to stick with the Bulls.

  • Mike Dunleavy has been great for the Bulls, but this back surgery is really going to put a damper on things.
  • Getting back into game shape at his age will be tough.
  • Also, when he is healthy, he is really just a spot-up shooter.
  • He is not athletic enough to guard the quicker wings in the league.
