Derrick Rose knew that there were better uses of his time than participating in Team USA’s mini-camp last week. His decision to forgo attending the camp reiterates his commitment to the Bulls above all else. His training regimen and the improvements that his trainer has reported indicates that he can work his way back towards the form that allowed him to become the youngest MVP in NBA history.
If Rose regains that MVP form, he will make Team USA’s Olympic roster next season regardless if he attended this summer’s camp or not.
