Over this past weekend, Michael Jordan answered some questions about his life and career from some kids at a basketball camp. The questions were awesome, and Jordan’s answers were just as good.
One of the hottest trends during the NBA offseason was the now-infamous Instagram beef between former Chicago Bulls great Scottie Pippen and Shaquille O’Neal.

The two went back and forth on social media over a picture that featured five of the greatest Los Angeles Lakers of all-time, along with five of the greatest members of the Bulls organization.
Many gave their opinion on who would win the fictional showdown, except one of the intricate parts to the game: Michael Jordan.
Along with many other questions during a Q&A session at his 20th annual Michael Jordan’s Flight School basketball camp, which was held on the campus of Santa Barbara for around 800 young ballers.
When Jordan was asked about his opinion on the game’s potential result. the greatest player of all-time answered as only Michael Jordan could:
Get some, Shaq!
In typical Jordan style, Jordan says his Bulls — that consisted of Derrick Rose, Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman and Horace Grant — “would’ve killed” Shaq’s Laker roster of Earvin “Magic” Johnson, Kobe Bryant, Elgin Baylor, Shaq himself and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
Jordan’s response was typical MJ. Even at the age of 52, he’s still got the swagger and confidence that he had back when he and the Bulls took over the NBA world, winning six titles in an eight-year span.
The questions didn’t stop there. Jordan was asked some pretty good questions, including playing against today’s stars, and who would he have coach if he had one game to win:
Jordan taking “The Dean”, former North Carolina head coach Dean Smith over “The Zen Master”, 11-time NBA Champion Phil Jackson? It’s not as shocking as you would think.
“Phil was lucky because I was taught the game by Dean Smith,” Jordan explained after answering the question.
Here’s some of the other fun questions asked by some campers towards Jordan:
“In Space Jam, did Bugs Bunny steal the spotlight?”
"“Yes he did. He’s much more famous than me! And he’s still more famous than me.”"
(That’s debatable, MJ … but I might give the slight edge to Bugs. Personally, I find myself still watching Looney Tunes cartoons to this day on weekend mornings.)
“If you had a chance to go one-on-one between Stephen Curry (for some reason, Jordan calls him, “Stepfon”) and LeBron, which one would you choose?”
"“Right now, or when I was in my prime? Right now? Oh, well I’d go against Stepfon, I can back him down, but LeBron’s a little bit too big.”"
(It’s “Stephen”, MJ … but we’ll work on it.)
“If I had a chance to add another member to Team Jordan, who would you add?”
"“It can be any sport? I am a big fan of (Mike) Trout, the baseball player. I absolutely love him.”"
(Yes! Mike Trout is the best and most complete player in Major League Baseball today. That would be a fantastic get for you, MJ.)
The most popular question from the session was obviously,
BOOM.
“No question.”
Game over.
Michael Jordan, the GOAT.
If you want to watch the full Q&A session, here’s the link to watch it. I would watch it if I were you. Someone asked about Kwame Brown, and it was awesome.
