Derrick Rose’s Son Steals Spotlight After Bulls’ Game 4 Loss

Despite losing at the buzzer during a series-turning game on Sunday, Chicago Bulls fans ended up smiling a bit in the end, thanks to the littler version of Derrick Rose.

There’s no question about it: Derrick Rose’s son is cooler than you.

After a tough Game 4 loss for the Chicago Bulls, the younger version of Derrick Rose made his first post-game press conference appearance with his father.

I know for the White Sox fans in the city of Chicago, it’s a punch to the gut to see the city’s biggest superstar’s son wearing the colors of the enemy, but c’mon, the little version of Derrick Rose is still cute even if he’s wearing the wrong team’s colors.

Rose’s son, P.J., made Sunday’s loss seem a little less painful for Bulls fans, who watched their arch-nemesis, LeBron James, drill a tough jumper from the corner at the gun to give the Cavaliers a 86-84 victory and the momentum heading into Tuesday’s Game 5.

Losing the biggest game of the series wasn’t anything of the bigger Rose’s doing. In just over 41 minutes of action, Rose dropped a game-high 31 points on 11-of-23 shooting, including the game-tying score with just under nine seconds left in regulation.

Despite the loss, both Roses brought some light to the situation.

When asked about a heart-breaking Game 4 loss, the eldest Rose said, “This game is already over. Just enjoy your day with your mom.”

There’s not too many that understand the importance of Mother’s Day more than Derrick Rose.

Meanwhile, while Rose’s comments brought some perspective to life away from an intense playoff series, P.J. Rose was winning the Internet.

Using a shot from after Rose’s game-winner this past Friday night in Game 3 and putting his son’s hilarious expression from Sunday on it? Genius.

I’m not trying to tell you how to run the Young Money/Cash Money Billionaires label, Birdman and Lil’ Wayne, but signing P.J. Rose would help bring in some cash because, well, look at him! He’s adorable.

Outside of that Cubs jersey (Go Sox!), P.J. Rose won Mother’s Day.

The smaller D-Rose’s mother even got in on the fun by posting this little video to her Instagram account:
