Chicago Bulls Defeat Milwaukee Bucks – Post Game Grades

facebooktwitterreddit

The Chicago Bulls squared off against the Milwaukee Bucks in the United Center tonight looking to improve their mediocre home record of 16-11. They managed to do just that after being led by Tony Snell and Pau Gasol. Taj Gibson and Kirk Hinrich both did not play tonight due to an illness, but Chicago didn’t need them tonight. The Bulls finished the game winning 87-71. Here are post-game grades for each starter:

<p><em>Stat Line: 1-3 FG, 4 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists</em></p><p>It was a very quiet night for <strong></strong><strong><a href=. SF. . MIKE DUNLEAVY JR. C

<p><em>Stat Line: 15 points, 10 rebounds, 5-9 FG, 1 block</em></p><p><strong>Pau Gasol</strong> played fabulous in tonight’s game. He had averaged 36 points in his last two outings against the Bucks, and so when they began to double team him the moment he touched the ball, he was ready for it. He managed to score a solid 15 points and notch yet another double-double, and he did a good job of setting up teammates for open shots. Once they fed Gasol in the post, the Bucks would double team him, and he frequently found the right man to pass it to.</p>. C. . PAU GASOL. A

B+. <p><em>Stat Line: 8 points, 16 rebounds, 2 assists, 3-9 FG</em></p><p><strong></strong><strong><a href=. PF. . JOAKIM NOAH

A-. <p><em>Stat Line: 41 points, 18 rebounds, 13-32 FG</em></p><p>The Bulls’ bench played without Gibson and Hinrich tonight, but that proved to be no real problem for Chicago. The bench was led by Snell, who finished with 20 points and 2 rebounds while shooting 7-11 from the field, and by <strong></strong><strong><a href=. bench. . BENCH MOB

Conclusion

In conclusion, it was a solid victory for the Bulls. There were a lot of sloppy turnovers, but apart from that, they played very well. Their defense was phenomenal, and they held the Bucks to just 71 points. That is the third least amount of points the Bucks have scored versus the Bulls in franchise history.

Chicago will play the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday, where hopefully they’ll be able to grab another W. Thanks for reading!
