#11 – Doug McDermott

McDermott was expected to be one of the few rookies who would be able to get quality playing time under head coach Tom Thibodeau.

Unfortunately, injuries have kept McDermott out for an extended period of time. He has not played in a game with the Bulls since November 30th. McDermott was listed as active for the Bulls for their game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, but he ended up getting no playing time.

“McBuckets” is still trying to find his rhythm this season, as he is shooting an awful 23% from beyond the arc, which was the main reason the Bulls drafted him.

Hopefully McDermott can get back on track soon, because right now, 3.1 points and 1.6 rebounds per game isn’t going to cut it. However, to achieve this, he must first get himself back into the rotation, which will prove to be a tough challenge to do under Thibodeau considering the current lineup the Bulls have.
