Mock Draft SZN got a whole lot more fun for Chicago Bulls fans when their team landed the No. 4 pick on lottery night. If the first three selections of a new Bleacher Report mock draft (which feature a blockbuster Ja Morant trade) become reality, the Bulls could have a clear path to nabbing Caleb Wilson.

Zach Buckley predicts a trade between the Memphis Grizzlies and Brooklyn Nets that sees Brooklyn land mercurial point guard Ja Morant and the No. 3 pick, while the No. 6 pick, Nic Claxton and Terance Mann go to Memphis.

With that selection, Brooklyn grabs Cameron Boozer, leaving the Bulls with perhaps their ideal prospect in Wilson.

That Morant move — and the ensuing hubbub it would cause — couldn't work out any better for Chicago.

Ja Morant trade chaos hands Bulls dream prospect in mock draft

If new Bulls executive VP of basketball operations Bryson Graham created his dream player in NBA2K, it might be Wilson. But there's no guarantee he makes it to No. 4. Graham isn’t the only decision-maker ready to fall in love with the North Carolina star.

If this Morant chaos plays out, though, he wouldn’t have to sweat it.

BYU forward AJ Dybantsa and Kansas guard Darryn Peterson are the favorites to land with the Washington Wizards and Utah Jazz, in some order. After that, the Boozer-Wilson debate is in the eye of the beholder.

Boozer was the 2026 Consensus National Player of the Year after averaging 22.5 points, 10.2 rebounds and 4.1 assists while shooting 55.6 percent from the field and 39.1 percent from 3-point range. His skill set is elite across the board.

Wilson isn't as polished, but at 6-foot-10 with a 7-foot wingspan, a 9-foot standing reach, and 39.5-inch vertical, he's in a class of his own as an athlete.

Why Caleb Wilson could be the Bulls' next building block

Graham made it clear in his debut press conference that he wants to build a roster filled with players who have what he terms SLAP attributes — size, length, athleticism and physicality.

In addition to his rare physical gifts, the absurd intensity with which Wilson plays is reminiscent of a peak Kevin Garnett. It's not difficult to watch the 19-year-old and visualize early KG.

And the allure of a duo of Wilson and Matas Buzelis is drool-worthy.

Both are jumbo, explosive athletes who play hard on both ends. Whoever Graham hires as Chicago's next head coach would have some fun lineups to play with — a Buzelis/Wilson pairing would work as massive wings in a big lineup or the four and five in small-ball groups.

If things break this way and Wilson slides into their laps, the Bulls should be giddy.
