Chicago Bulls starting lineup #3

-Josh Giddey

-Coby White

-Zach LaVine

-Matas Buzelis

-Jalen Smith

If the Bulls wanted more spacing and athleticism on the floor, they could swap out Vucevic for Jalen Smith and put rookie Buzelis in the starting five over Patrick Williams.

Williams just got the ridiculous contract, so the Bulls are obviously hoping for a big leap, but given his injury history and lack of development so far, I wouldn’t rule out Buzelis eventually beating him out.

The problem with this unit is that it may not have enough spacing with two non-shooters on the floor, but it also gives the Bulls myriad pick-and-roll opportunities with bigs who can shoot in Smith and create in Buzelis.

The Bulls’ rotation is likely to be a work in progress and we could see big changes to the roster before the season starts, but Billy Donovan is going to have to find ways to maximize his offensive firepower without giving up too much on the defensive end.
