Proposed 3-team trade between the Bulls, Knicks and Pistons
Here is a trade between the Bulls, Knicks and Pistons that could work out for everyone:
It makes sense for the Knicks, who would be able to clear cap space which they can then use to retain Isaiah Hartenstein, who has been huge for them in the playoffs. As it stands, they don’t have much cap space and some other team could blow their offer out of the water, so this would give them more wiggle room to keep the center they want.
It makes sense for the Pistons, who could use a center who can spread the floor to complement 20-year-old Jalen Duren. The Pistons have a ton of cap space and not much to spend it on, so this would be a way for them to get an impact player without giving up much, as they are only sacrificing Marcus Sasser and two second-round picks in the deal.
But what about the Chicago Bulls? Does a move like this make sense for them?
