#2: Zach LaVine is just good enough to cause the Chicago Bulls to lose their 2025 Draft pick

Even if LaVine plays well, there may not be a market for him, as teams are going to be reluctant to pay non superstars max money in the second apron era.

So, another nightmare scenario is that LaVine plays like 50 games next season and plays just well enough for the Bulls to not be in the bottom 10 teams, which would cost them their first-round pick in a loaded draft.

It would be very Chicago-like to win around 35 games next season, not make the playoffs and somehow still not have a draft pick in a draft that scouts have been raving about for years.

The Bulls have a chance to add another top-10 pick to their young core, but if LaVine plays enough games, he might be just good enough to prevent it.
