#3: Detroit Pistons select Matas Buzelis
The Pistons are desperate for help on the wing and Buzelis has as much potential as anyone as a skilled 6-foot-11 big who plays on the perimeter.
Buzelis can play just about anywhere, adding playmaking and size and a willing defender who can alter shots all over the court.
Buzelis is off an underwhelming G-League season and didn’t shoot well from 3-point range, so he’s a big risk here, but the Pistons need a star and reach for upside to find one with Buzelis, who was once ranked as the number one player in this draft class.
