#18: Orlando Magic select Carlton Carrington
Carrington is a dynamic scorer with a mid-range bag that he can also extend to the 3-point line.
He didn’t shoot a great percentage from long range (32 percent) but took more than six per game and was asked to do a lot for his team as a shot creator and scorer.
The Magic desperately need to add some shooting to lower ranked offense that was buoyed by a stout defense this season.
Carrington should at least be a bench scorer who can get red hot and win a game, and if his 3-point shooting efficiency improves, he’d be the perfect complement to the big defenders Orlando already has.
