NBA Mock Draft: Spurs get #1 again, but Chicago Bulls get the steal

#16: Philadelphia 76ers select Kevin McCullar Jr. 

The Sixers will be rebuilding an entire roster around Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey this summer and could certainly trade this pick as part of a deal for a more proven player. 

If they keep it, they’ll be looking for complementary players who can play now, and if McCullar is healthy, he can be one of those guys. 

He’s an upperclassman whose skills are a nice complement to team with two stars, as he will defend at a high level and make an impact without needing the ball in his hands a lot as a connective passer who can also knock down catch-and-shoot 3’s. 

Philly will be looking for another star and a bunch of role players this summer and McCullar Jr could be the latter.
