#15: Miami Heat select Tristan Da Silva
The Heat are known for liking older players who are ready to contribute right away, as they are in perpetual win now mode even if they end parting ways with Jimmy Butler this summer.
Da Silva may not have the highest ceiling, but the 6-foot-9 forward can already get buckets all over the court, was a competent high-volume 3-point shooter and has shown he can defend enough to stay on the court. He’s got a little Jaime Jaquez vibe and should be able to contribute right away.
The Heat will go for a guy who can help them now, not reach for a super young player who is less proven.
