#24: New York Knicks select Carlton Carrington 

The Knicks can afford to take some swings here and Carrington is raw but has huge upside as a scorer. 

It’s easy to envision him coming off the bench and electrifying Madison Square Garden right away, as he already has a silky-smooth mid-range game and bad around the rim. 

Given that they don’t have many needs, a high-upside flyer makes sense here.
