Grading 4 Bulls trade deadline targets from no-brainer to must-avoid

Bobby Portis - Semi no-brainer
Near the top of the Bulls' current priority list has to be a strong reserve forward. With Patrick Williams still sidelined with a foot issue, Chicago needs some extra production in the front court if they are to make a true push for the playoffs.
With that in mind, why not turn back to a familiar face? Bobby Portis began his NBA career with the Bulls, spending over three and a half years in Chicago before being dealt to the Wizards at the 2019 trade deadline. Now, with an NBA championship under his belt, Portis could be a perfect target for the Bulls at the deadline.
Sometimes, the prospect of adding an NBA champion to your roster can be a bit overblown. It is absolutely true that just because a player helped raise a Larry O'Brien trophy does not mean they will always be a worthwhile contributor on any team contending for a title.
But in Portis' case, he is still in the prime of his career and would provide solid contributions on both ends of the floor for any team serious about vying for a championship. Once again, it may not be easy to pry him from the Bucks, but he would certainly be worth pursuing.
