Daryl Morey is always chasing his next star. Philadelphia did not trade James Harden for expiring salaries and draft capital to make the picks. Morey planned to use those assets to upgrade his roster. The Sixers can have cap space in the offseason, but finding a third star to pair with Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey is their top priority.
They would love to add another ball-handler, scorer, and playmaker to their roster. Maxey has taken over as the point guard, but the Sixers would love another dynamic scorer and shot-creator flanking him. LaVine certainly offers that, but would Philadelphia be willing to give up two first-round picks?

In the other packages, the Bulls are getting players they could flip for additional draft capital. Here it would be strictly about the picks. Can they convince the 76ers to give them two first-rounders? It is a tough call because it eliminates Philly’s cap space and locks in their new Big 3.
The Chicago Bulls are motivated to trade Zach LaVine, and this is likely the best available offer. The two-time All-Star is most linked to two suitors. Philadelphia has more draft capital to offer than the Lakers, but LA could swoop in and land him with a package like this.
