One of the focal points of the offseason for the Chicago Bulls is finding the best possible trade for Zach LaVine.
The relationship has run its course and there is mutual interest on both sides for a fresh start.
So far, the market for LaVine has been tepid at best, but there are teams that could use his services, and there will be chances for the Bulls to get some kind of return if they are patient.
Matt Moore of the Action Network reported that the Sacramento Kings have shown interest in both LaVine and Caruso:
"The Sacramento Kings are going back to the well with the same trade package they offered Toronto twice for OG Anunoby and Pascal Siakam. The offer includes Harrison Barnes, Kevin Huerter and draft pick compensation. They're known to have had calls with Chicago involving Zach LaVine and Alex Caruso. "
He didn’t indicate if the two were a package or being discussed separately but the Kings may offer the Bulls the best chance to trade Lavine and get something back.
Chicago Bulls rumors: Trading Zach LaVine to the Sacramento Kings
The Kings have long been trying to make a splash, as they have the base of a good team but just need a few more pieces to push them over the top.
They are probably going to lose Malik Monk and may see LaVine as a possible replacement as a guy who can at least get buckets.
But the Bulls may have to include a sweetener in the form of Alex Caruso if they want to get something back, which is what happens in the following proposed trade.
