Bulls rumors: Is Zach Lavine next? Possible trades with 76ers and Jazz
Chicago Bulls trade Zach LaVine to the Philadelphia 76ers for the 41st pick and a 2026 1st-round pick
The 76ers were rumored to require a pick to take on LaVine’s contract in the past, so this might be a pipe dream return for the Bulls.
But the 76ers have reportedly cooled on their pursuit of Paul George and may be looking for an alternative.
Given that they have only one player under contract for next season (Joel Embiid), the 76ers can’t offer anything other than cap space and possible draft assets.
In this trade, the Bulls get their own second-round pick back in 2024 and a future first-round pick in 2026 that would likely be heavily protected if the 76ers were even willing to part with it. They do have an extra pick in 2026 but may think that too high a cost to take on three years of LaVine.
At the very least, the Bulls should be able to get a middling second-round pick for LaVine, but there may be a better deal out there.
