Bold 3-team trade proposal would be dream scenario for the Bulls

Now that the Chicago Bulls have traded Alex Caruso and DeMar DeRozan, they can turn their attention full time to Zach LaVine.

As we all know by now, the market for LaVine's services isn’t robust and the Bulls have no leverage anyway, as he’s coming off an injury, has a lot of money owed to him and everyone knows they want to trade him.

It’s even been reported that teams were looking for a first-round pick attached to LaVine just to take his deal, a move that a now-rebuilding team like the Bulls shouldn’t consider, as future draft capital is critical to improvement whether it’s through the acquisition of young talent in the draft or as an asset in a trade.

Is patience the only option for the Bulls or could there be something else brewing?

Zach LaVine is now underrated and the Bulls shouldn’t cave

If I’m the Bulls, I’d rather enter the season with LaVine on the roster than pay to give him away. He might put up huge numbers in the first half and suddenly he’s a trade asset instead of a sunk cost.

The LaVine slander has gotten comical, as this is a guy who puts up All-Star numbers when he’s healthy. He could thrive on the right team and there might be a few desperate enough to make that bet.

If so, the Bulls may be able to move him in a multi-team trade and actually get something in return, at least according to one proposed deal.
